Rear camera remains same that IMX298 sony sensor is already great but front facing camera gets doubled megapixel Now it is rocking a 16MP Samsung Front cam with PDAF focus.
Major change is in software Now it is rocking a Company's Newer Oxygen OS version 3.5.5.

But if you are using a 2-3 year smartphone which is no more smart and want 128GB storage 6GB ram excellent camera and almost stock like experience under just $500 bucks then I would say Oneplus 3T is choice to Go. oneplus also relased oneplus5 this year.
